Absorbent Range - AT U Products
Working with our partner - UniremTech - The PRP® family of remedial agents use Nature to effectively manage and remediate releases of petroleum hydrocarbons in a green and sustainable manner.
PRP® is the registered brand name of UniRemTech’s oil spill response sorbent created using a manufacturing application developed by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). NASA, working in conjunction with industry scientists, developed an encapsulation process that enables the production of hollow, buoyant capsules.
This resulted in the development of Petroleum Remediation Product (PRP)®.
The PRP range is provided in the under agreement with Unirem.
The AT U Range of products are based on the proprietary PRP® powder for the purpose of cleaning up oil and fuel spills all over the world. They utilize all-natural ingredients and technology derived from NASA’s space program so that petroleum spills can be handled in a safe and natural way with no harmful effects to the environment.
Absorb Tech working with UniRemTech - PRP® and OILBUSTER® are specially designed for remediating oil spills of various types.
OilBuster® - Biodegradable Trackmat for Rail Beds and Other Applications. The OILBUSTER® is specially designed for remediating oil spills on hard and gravel surfaces that encounter significant foot traffic.
WELLBOOM® - For Groundwater Well Management and Site Remediation.
When installed, WELLBOOM® submerges and adjusts to the changing subsurface water levels. It remains buoyant and interacting with the subsurface hydrocarbons due to natural or forced groundwater movement around the site.

BIOBOOMS® act by containing a spreading spill while the PRP® inside captures hydrocarbons and ultimately facilitating natural microbes consuming it and eliminating it entirely. Whether the spill is in open water, a marina, a holding pond or a river, BIOBOOM® hold the spill in place while the PRP® works, facilitating the degradation of the oil and PRP® into water and carbon dioxide. There is no toxic waste requiring tedious and expensive disposal.
